In order to add icons and icon links, a user has to be within the Icon Annotation Mode of the Annotation Canvas. Once an icon has been placed on an image, it can be linked to any form fields that have been configured for that icon.
Note: users cannot configure which icons link to which fields. To modify to which icons link to which fields, or to modify your Icon List, submit a support ticket through the APX Help Portal.
To link an icon to form fields, the icon must first be selected. A selected icon is indicated by a cyan (light blue) frame around it. To view the form fields that can be linked to that icon, a user can select the icon link button in the bottom left corner. This will present all linked fields.
If information has already been added to these fields, the fields will have those values within them. If not, the fields will be empty. Icons can be linked to one or more tables. If a table has several rows (sets of fields) the icon can be linked to "All" rows, or a specific row, using the selector at the top of the screen.
Once these icon links have been created, users can save these changes by selecting Save.
