Does a device require connectivity to the APX server in order to access/modify a building information plan or inspection?

The SmartCapture and SmartInspect mobile applications can each store locally up to 10 building information plans. If stored locally, a plan or inspection can be accessed and modified without being connected to the APX server. Any changes are saved locally to the device, and can be synced up when connectivity is re-established. 

However, in order to complete any sync operation, SmartCapture/SmartInspect requires connectivity to the APX server. Sync operations can include syncing the list of an organization's buildings, opening a building info plan or inspection request (assuming it has not already been synced down and is saved locally), syncing changes to a building info plan or inspection up to the APX server, and generating an inspection email and report.
