Some of my icons are fading in and out? What does this mean?

How annotation icons appear in SmartView is sometimes different than how they are placed in SmartCapture or SmartInspect. This is because the icons are scaled according to the screen resolution of the device accessing the building information plan.

As a result, sometimes icons, placed apart from one another during creation, will be overlapping each other in SmartView. To mitigate this, SmartView will automatically detect any overlapping icons, and will animate the icons in question to fade in and out asynchronously to one another. This animation can be paused by selecting the  pause button in the top right of the plan.

Selecting any of the animated icons will cause the animation to change, and will hide all of the other icons on the image. Each of the animated icons will split out, and a line will be drawn to the position that it was originally placed on the image. Selecting one of these icons will then navigate the user to any linked information within the plan. Selecting any other part of the image will return the image and its icons to the original state.
