SmartCapture/SmartInspect Version 3.0.0

SmartCapture Version 3.0.0 brings a significant enhancement to the annotations feature of the application. A drawing annotation mode allows users to add shapes (e.g. circles, arrows) that can be used to draw attention to points of interest. A text annotation mode allows text and/or text boxes to be placed on images, allowing users to provide additional information or context to an image.

Similar to the current icon annotations, these new annotation types are also displayed when accessed in SmartView. Furthermore, all annotations will appear when preplans are output to PDF. For SmartInspect users, the annotations will also appear on images added to inspection reports.

Note: The annotation canvas, which is used to add annotations to an image, will now open automatically when an image is selected from SmartCapture or SmartInspect.

Version 3.0.0 is to be released on the App Store on Monday, April 22, 2019.
